After individually printing 2500 RFID tagged wristband invites for Diesel’s 30th birthday party, we managed to get almost all of the guests to pre-register through a combination of a microsite on diesel.com and in store touch screen kiosks, leaving us with a huge database of photos of punters before the night had even come close. This meant we could incorporate real guests into the projected visuals on the night, something that had seemed impossible in the original meetings…

The event itself took place on the 11th October at Matter at the 02. Thirty different acts, a huge digital photo-wall and the icing on the cake, 8 touchscreen RFID driven live chat/imaging kiosks projected onto every surface in the club, a recipe for a very tired set of Outside Line workers, but very happy and sometimes amazed guests!

Only now after the event can I really begin to appreciate what we pulled off, awesome.
